Stop Imagining the Worst Case Scenario

STOP IMAGINING THE WORST CASE SCENARIO: From the most painful and unfair to the most challenging and heart-wrenching – all difficult and complex situations that come up make it easy for us feel fearful and out of control.

So, right now, no matter your challenge, ask yourself how you want to see it ultimately unfold? What will you do should the worst manifest? Visualizing what you will do (versus just hoping that the worse doesn’t happen) will empower your position.

Remember, if you’re going to think about this situation, at least think about how you will handle it (action plan). The unknown is scary. Fill your mind with the “known” and you will feel much better.
