Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

HOW TO RUIN YOUR OWN DAY: Stop comparing yourself to others! Do you get down on yourself because you think you should be “more” than you are now or further along in your life? If so, remember that this type of comparison does nothing but make you feel bad, and making yourself feel bad is not the path to success and happiness.

If you are going to compare, be fair and loving by comparing yourself to yourself. Look at where you were, and acknowledge the gains you’ve made. Look at what you have done and applaud your progress. Everything is about you. Your success has nothing to do with anyone else or unrealistic expectations that you put on yourself. You have the power to ruin your day or make your day. Let’s choose to be powerful this week!
