Introducing The Hilton Garden Inn Knoxville West the newest member of the Wellness 101 Resource Network!

Wellness 101 Resource Network

Just 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville, TN, the Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located right off of I-40 in an area where there are plenty of traveler-friendly amenities such as shopping and restaurants. They serve an awesome breakfast and dinner in The Garden Grille & Bar — with daily local dinner selections by Chef David and other chefs — and their bar is open daily from 5 to 10 pm for some libations and networking. If you want to venture out, there are plenty of other great dining options nearby. If you need to stock up on supplies for the road like I did, the area’s first Whole Foods is just a few minutes away. For entertainment and exploring, a short drive downtown will take you to great destinations like the Knoxville Zoo (www.knoxville-zoo.org), the Tennessee Theatre (www.tennessetheatre.com)and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame(www.wbhof.com).

A visit to the Knoxville area isn’t complete without a day trip to Gatlinburg (www.gatlinburg.com), the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, all about an hour away.

The team members at the Hilton Garden Inn Knoxville West really seem to love their jobs, get along great with each other and genuinely enjoy serving the guests. I observed several interactions with guests that were all very friendly and “familiar.” It seems like a place that people come back to again and again. It’s far from pretentious and very much like home away from home, with all around great service and amenities.

I’m pleased to announce that we’ll be giving away a Wellness 101 Survivor Celebration one-night stay in a King or Double Queen room and breakfast for two to a couple affected by cancer. Simply nominate someone you know by sharing their survivor story in the comments section here and we’ll select a winner by November 15th. The winner must live within a 100-mile radius of Knoxville, TN and must either be a cancer survivor or survivor spouse/partner. You can even nominate yourself! Share your story by November 15 to qualify.
