TIPS

  • Do not refrigerate until ripe
  • A firm avocado will ripen in a brown paper back within a few days
  • Peel the avocado with your hands though, much like you would a banana, in order to retain its most concentration of carotenoids, which are right beneath the skin
  • Sprinkle some lemon juice on it to avoid oxidation and prevent it to turn brown

  • Add to your favorite smoothie to add a creamy texture
  • Spread on your bread instead of mayo for a delicious sandwich
  • Add to your salads
  • Pair with fruit, unusual but delicious

  • Remove the skin, mash it until smooth and rub the mixture on the skin
  • Leave on for a few minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

  • Replace it as your natural sunscreen solution
  • Removes dead skin, restores healthy nutrients and protects against harsh environment factors

AVOCADO IS GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR TOO

Same as above, but mix the mashed fruit with a little warm water. Avocado provides great hair treatment in combination with egg yolk, olive oil and to soften and nourish it naturally. It leaves your hair rejuvenated and well revitalized. This is especially good for dry or damaged hair. Leave on for 30 minutes and shampoo as normal when done.

YOU CAN USE THE AVOCADO SKIN TOO!

Rub the inside of the skins over your hands, elbows, heels or anywhere that is dry and rough. This is good for sunburn as well
