Everything Is About You by Alice Inoue, Founder of Happiness U

DO NOT DO THIS: Compare yourself to others. If this has been a habit of yours, you probably think that something’s wrong with you, and you likely beat yourself up inside thinking you should be more than you are now, or further along in your life.

This type of comparison does nothing but make you feel bad. Feeling bad is not the path to success and happiness. If you are going to compare, be fair and loving. Compare yourself to where you were, and acknowledge the gains you’ve made. Look at what you have done. Everything is about you. Your success or progress has nothing to do with anyone else. You have the power to ruin your day or make your day.
